Policies

  • After scheduling your first session, you will be sent your initial paperwork by email or through the online patient portal. Please complete the paperwork before your first session.

  • Cancellations made prior to 24 hours before the session will incur no fee.

Clients will be responsible to pay for the entirety of their session for any appointment cancelled without providing at least 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.

No Shows (appointments missed without any prior notice) will be responsible to pay for the entirety of their missed session.

  • We accept cash, check, or credit card. If choosing to pay with cash, exact change is required. A $25.00 fee will be charged for all checks returned due to insufficient funds.

  • While your child is in their counseling session, the person responsible for bringing them to their appointment must remain on campus. This is important due to the role of the parent/caretaker in the child’s growth. There may be times that I would like to bring you into the session to work on specific skills or teach you a new technique to use at home with your child.

  • For your health, the counselor’s health, and the health of other clients that receive services, we ask you to stay home when you are feeling sick.

If you still want to keep your session, we can make arrangements to meet via telehealth.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    ● You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
    ● Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
    ● If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
    ● Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
